Use of Marks

Rules for the Use of Certification Marks

Clients who have successfully achieved certification are granted the right to use the GlobalCert UK certification mark. This mark represents conformity to specific management system standards and must be used correctly to prevent misleading the public.

Acceptable Use

• • The mark may be used on corporate stationery, promotional material, and websites.
• • The mark must always be used in conjunction with the name of the certified organization.
• • The mark must be reproduced exactly as provided by GlobalCert UK, without any alterations to its proportions or colors.

Prohibited Use

• • The certification mark shall not be used on a product or product packaging seen by the consumer in any way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.
• • The mark must not be applied to laboratory test, calibration, or inspection reports.
• • Certified clients shall not make any misleading statement regarding their certification.

Suspension or Withdrawal

Upon suspension or withdrawal of its certification, the client must immediately discontinue the use of all advertising matter that contains any reference to certification status. Failure to comply with these rules may result in corrective actions, publication of the transgression, or legal action.
