Procedure for Complaints and Appeals

Gcert.UK is committed to addressing all complaints and appeals in a constructive, timely, and impartial manner.

Complaints

A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction, other than appeal, by any person or organization to Gcert.UK, relating to its activities or the activities of a certified client, where a response is expected. All complaints are investigated by personnel independent of the subject of the complaint. We will acknowledge receipt of the complaint, provide progress reports, and communicate the formal outcome.

Appeals

An appeal is a request by a client for Gcert.UK to reconsider a decision it has made relating to that client's certification status. Appeals are reviewed by an independent Appeals Committee. The appellant will be formally notified of the outcome and the end of the appeals process.
